Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy

Our Commitment

Every plant we ship is personally inspected, carefully prepared, and photographed before packing. We take plant health in transit very seriously. In the rare event that a plant arrives in unacceptable condition, we will work with you to find a fair resolution.

What Qualifies as DOA

  • Plant is completely dead (no living tissue) upon arrival
  • Severe rot affecting more than 50% of the plant with no salvageable growth points
  • Major physical damage caused by mishandling during transit

What Does Not Qualify as DOA

  • Normal transit stress (minor leaf yellowing, softness, or wilting) — this resolves with proper care
  • Damage caused by incorrect care after delivery
  • Plants held in customs for extended periods beyond our control
  • Buyer-caused damage during unpacking

How to File a DOA Claim

  • Step 1: Record a clear, continuous unboxing video from the moment you open the outer box.
  • Step 2: Contact us within 24 hours of delivery via email (Jukrawut@rockslikplant.com) or Instagram DM.
  • Step 3: Send the unboxing video and clear photos showing the condition of the plant.
  • Step 4: We will review and respond within 48 hours with a proposed resolution.

Resolution Options

Depending on the situation, we may offer: a partial or full refund, store credit toward a future purchase, or a replacement plant when available. Claims submitted without unboxing video cannot be processed.

Terms of Sale

By placing an order with RockSlikPlant, you agree to the following terms:

  • All plants are sold as described. Pre-shipment photos are provided for buyer confirmation.
  • Full payment is required before any plant is shipped.
  • The buyer is responsible for confirming their country’s import regulations for bare-root plants.
  • Customs duties, import taxes, or additional government fees in the buyer’s country are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
  • RockSlikPlant is not liable for delays or losses caused by customs, courier mishandling, or force majeure events.
  • Deposits are non-refundable if the buyer cancels after documentation has been initiated.
  • All sales are final once the plant has been shipped with tracking confirmation provided to the buyer.

When you contact us, we collect your name, Instagram handle, email address, country, and the details of your inquiry. This information is used solely to process your order and communicate with you.

How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your inquiry and process your order
  • To prepare shipping documentation (name, address, country)
  • To share pre-shipment photos and tracking information

Your personal information is stored securely and is not shared with third parties except as required for shipping (courier services) and payment processing.
